Shut Up & Write [Weekly Session]

Join us on Tuesdays for 6 weekly sessions beginning May 5th at 830AM.

Shut Up & Write!® sessions are simple by design:

We arrive and say hello. A quick intro so you feel oriented and seen.

We write together. Focused writing time right here at Poppy.

We close with a check-in. Optional reflections on what you worked on and how it went.

That's it. We do not workshop. We do not critique. We do not evaluate. We create a consistent container where writing can happen, week after week, without the friction that usually gets in the way.

Perimenopause, Menopause & Hormone Optimization [Powered by Expansion Health]

Join us for a conversation with hormone and optimization nurse practitioners Adair Flynt FNP-BC CNM, MSCP and Christina M. Kitchen FNP-BC MSCP, who specializes in supporting women through the transitional stages of reproductive hormone fluctuations, not just managing symptoms, but optimizing health through every stage of perimenopause and menopause.

We'll move beyond the mainstream "hot flash" conversation to address the full picture: irregular periods, mood swings, fatigue, weight gain, joint discomfort, and brain fog — along with the intimate symptoms that rarely get talked about openly.

Free for Poppy Members.

$25 for Non-Members.

About Our Speakers:

Adair Flynt FNP-BC CNM, MSCP is a certified nurse midwife and family nurse practitioner specializing in primary care and hormone health. Adair graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Health Education from the University of Georgia School of Public Health and then earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Masters in Nursing at Emory University.

After beginning a career in healthcare two decades ago, Adair noticed most providers failed to spend enough quality time with their patients to understand their medical values, goals, and lifestyle and resulting impacts on overall health. The inspiration to become a Midwife and Nurse Practitioner (NP) resulted from working as a Doula providing clients with education and tools for navigating a complicated and disease oriented healthcare system.

Christina M. Kitchen FNP-BC MSCP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) with over two decades of clinical experience in women’s and sexual health. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Columbia University and is known for her thoughtful, clinically grounded approach to care. Christina provides comprehensive care for women across all stages of life, as well as developmentally appropriate care for adolescents and personalized care for men.

Her clinical interests include sexual health, hormonal health, midlife transitions, and preventive care, with a focus on supporting patients through complex or sensitive concerns. She values education, collaboration, and open communication, creating an environment where patients feel informed, respected, and at ease. Christina is deeply committed to building long-term, trusting relationships and delivering care that is both personalized and evidence-based.

Investing, Without the Noise: A Calm Approach to Money & Wealth with Diana Richey

Who this is for: Women who want to feel more confident and intentional with their money—at any stage.

Money touches every part of our lives, but most conversations only focus on one piece.

In this informal Q&A lunch, we can explore the full picture—from how we think and feel about money, to how we actually structure and invest it.

We’ll cover:

  • Money mindset, energetics, and earning

  • Taxes, account structure, and how to set things up simply

  • Investing basics and how to get started

  • Passive vs. active investing

  • ESG and aligning your portfolio with your values

  • How to build wealth in a way that feels steady and sustainable

Bring your questions—this is a relaxed, open conversation.

Diana Richey is an investor, tax attorney, and writer whose work bridges disciplined financial practice with a broader exploration of how building financial resources can support an intentional life.

With more than two decades of experience in law and finance, she began her career as an international tax attorney advising individuals, private funds, and multinational corporations on cross-border planning, charitable structures, and long-term capital strategy.

Today, she manages her own money with an emphasis on risk awareness and process-driven decision-making. Through her Substack, she teaches the fundamentals of investing with a focus on building income and long-term capital. She shares her own portfolio as a transparent reference, walking through trades as she makes them so readers can learn and grow alongside her.

Diana holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional. She sits on the 501(c)(3) boards of Nature and Culture International and Amanzi: Water to Schools.
